I worked as a DJ after Steve in Sioux Falls over thirty years ago. He and Doug were very wonderful to work with and for. I just happened to Google Steve out of curiosity. I appreciate his earn and deep humor he showed. Was a very friendly kind and helpful guy. It's been decades but I will always remember with great fondness all of his help and friendship so long ago. RIP.

I was shocked to hear this news so late. He was such a fun, witty, nice guy and loved to tease. I got to know him in the 90's. He will be missed and I will always keep him in my memories. I had a great time with him one Christmas baking candies, cookies and making a big dinner for his family gathering. He loved to bake, mechanic and was a good carpenter too. RIP big bear, I will always remember the good times we had together. Hugs

From our many exchanges over the past 10 years, I learned that Steve was a great son, great brother, great partner, great friend, great neighbour and great humanitarian, always willing to help others in times of great need.

Needless to say, Steve shall be sorely and surely missed by all who knew him, and who were touched by his life.

At this difficult time, I wish to offer my deepest sympathies to Steve's family for the loss of their dear brother.

May you rest in peace and may God bless your soul, Steve.

Friends since the moment we were introduced more than 30 years ago. Steve knew how to be a forever friend... Always listened.... Always compassionate! He helped so much after my husbands death 20+ years ago. A big hearted man with a crazy, wonderful laugh and sense of humor; A great son and brother; a brilliant electronics wizard; exceptional builder and inventor. I am better for having had the blessing of his friendship. I miss Steve already. Love to all Steve's family.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Steve's siblings. I have great memories of Steve and all the neat light tricks. We could never wait to see what he made next. I remember him taking my older sisters to the movies and I didn't get to go. I think about all of you every time I drive past your old house. We loved those trips. Weather permitting, I hope to see you all on Tuesday.
