Della Schroeder passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025 at her home in Payette, Idaho. She was born May 18, 1931 in Nampa, Idaho to Glynn Heath and Dorothy Della Michael.
She graduated from Klamath High School in Klamath Falls, Oregon and was a proud member of the pep peppers squad for the Pelicans. She married Robert William Schroeder on December 24, 1949. In 1963 they moved to Payette, Idaho after purchasing Rosedale Memorial Gardens and later opening the Chapel of the Roses Mortuary in Payette and Ontario. They worked side by side serving many families in their time of need. Della belonged to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities, including Relief Society President. She was a member of the Payette Civic League and a life-long member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary #9036. Della served as an election judge at the voting poll in Payette for years. She loved the community of Payette. Bob and Della retired in 1995. After their retirement they enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.
Della is survived by her bother Glynn (Mary) Michael; children, Michael (Sharon), Stephen, Barry, Teresa (Gary) Lillian, Tricia (Troy), and Sarah (Steve), 22 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, son Kelly and grandson Cameron.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Church, 501 South Iowa Avenue in Payette, where friends may call one hour prior. Interment Rosedale Memorial Gardens in Payette. Services are under the direction of the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, Payette.
