Kathy Clements Obituary

Kathy Christine Clements
March 26, 1951 - November 27, 2024
Kathy Christine Clements was born March 26, 1951 in Mountain Home, ID to Patricia and Dwayne Spangler. She was the oldest of five children. Kathy and her parents moved to Boise shortly after she was born. Kathy attended Koelsch Elementary school, North Junior High, and later graduated from Capital High School. Kathy, being the oldest of all the children, she was the overseer, and she was bossy. She loved snow skiing on Bogus Basin. She found solace in riding the bus to Bogus to ski for the day with her friends. Kathy met and married Stanley Clements in 1971. Kathy and Stan had three children, Jody (Steve) Henderson, Todd Clements, and Jessica (deceased) and two grandchildren, Brayden and Elli Clements. Together, Stan and Kathy created a great life. They owned several businesses in Payette including Ben Franklin Variety Store and All Valley Agency. Kathy loved being involved in the community and was an active member of the Jaycees, Payette Chamber of Commerce, the Apple Blossom Festival and RIO Car Club. She loved Payette and the many friends she made throughout the years. More important, she loved working with her husband, Stan. They were a great team. They were married 53 years and had many adventures. Life took her many places, but she was truly the happiest at home with her family. Kathy leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and compassion. Kathy is survived by her children, Jody (Steve) Henderson and Todd Clements; Brayden Clements and Elli Clements; her sisters, Cindy (Dave) Rupe and Anna (Arlin) Gomm; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services are under the direction of Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel and will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, 11 a.m. at the Payette United Methodist Church, 502 N 11th St, Payette, ID. A luncheon will follow.

I really got to know Kathy and Stanley over the past year. What a couple of wonderful people. I truly feel that knowing them has made me a better person. I loved talking with Kathy about Stan, she loved him so much (she spoke about as if they were teens in love) and the same thing from Stan regarding Kathy.
What an amazing, beautiful love.
