Marie Eilers Obituary
She attended high school in Adrian, OR where she met the love of her life Earnie Eilers.
She continued her education at EOU and returned to marry Earnie in 1966. They settled in Emmett for a few years until they moved to the family farm in New Plymouth and raised two daughters there. She milked cows with her husband and performed all that came with the farm life. She held a few jobs outside the home, such as baking pies and waitressing at the local restaurant in New Plymouth, along with driving school bus and wearing tons of different hats at WICAP in Payette for 35 years then later retiring from the City of Notus in 2024.
Marie loved to bowl, sew anything that the family brought her, crocheting, working on the farm, traveling and of course spending time with her family. Marie made numerous outfits and clothes for her family, from Halloween costumes to dresses for weddings and school dances.
Survived by her husband, Earnie Eilers; daughters, Peggy Eilers, Kellie Campbell (Jerry); grandchildren, Aren Campbell (Gracie), AdiaMarie Presher (Zach), Shandra Eldred (JJ), and Evan Eilers; great grandchildren, Stella Eldred, Karter Presher, Lane Campbell, Luke Campbell, Tynleigh Eilers, Amelia Eldred; brothers, Terry Borge (Lee) and Dale Borge (Lucinda) and sister, Kay Grooms (Jim) and multiple nephews, nieces and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jacob & Thelma Borge, mother-in-law, Hazel Sauer and brother-in-law, Joe Sands.
Celebration of life for Marie will be held October 4th at 1 p.m. at her home in New Plymouth.

Adia and the whole family. So sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother, Grandmother and Gigi. May you all find comfort in knowing she is no longer having to fight and she is at peace.

My Aunt Marie was a very strong woman. She unapologetically herself. A great mother and aunt who loved her family. I regret not seeing her in her later years. I appreciate being named after her. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
