Jeffrey Darryl Rumple, Sr., 77, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on September 24, 2022. Jeff was born on November 27, 1944 to Paul and Eunice Rumple in Greensboro, NC.
After Jeff graduated from Beaver Creek High School, he went on to study at High Point University. Early in his career he worked for Badger Funeral Home in West Jefferson, NC and the Cumby Mortuary in High Point, NC. He then decided to make a career change and joined the Winston-Salem Police Department for several years. He then made his final career change and went into the financial industry working at several banks where he held management positions. After 36 years in banking, he retired.
Jeff was proceeded in death by his parents, Paul and Eunice Rumple. Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Belinda Rumple; daughter, Gina Rumple, son, Jeffrey Rumple, Jr. (Laura), daughter, Kristie Rumple and son, Zac Rumple; grandchildren Cal, Autumn, Jacob, Riley and Will. He is also survived by his brother Rodney Rumple (Mary) and sister Teresa Storie. Jeff will be missed by his canine companion Daisy.
Services were held at Grace Covenant Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Jeff's memory to Grace Covenant Church, 17301 Statesville Road, Cornelius 28031 or your preferred charity.
