Jeffrey Michael Campbell, age 78, of Grand View, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Tamarack Medical Center, in Ashland. he was born October 3, 1947, in Superior, WI, the son of Clarence and Virginia (Boutin) Campbell.
On August 29, 1964, he married Marilyn Peterson, in Manchester, Iowa. Jeffrey was a jack of all trades and spent his working years working in carpentry, construction and as a self-employed logger. He was a mentor to others and was always willing to pass his knowledge on, especially to his grandchildren. Jeffrey loved being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed working on small engines, welding and just fixing things.
Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; a son, Thomas (Teresa) Campbell; two brothers, John (Laurie) Campbell and Ty Campbell; a sister, Toni (Steve) Thompson; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; special buddy, Steve Thompson; very special friends, Ryan and Sean Martinkis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kevin Lee Campbell on February 17, 2024 and an infant son, Fritz Herman Campbell; a brother, Timothy; and a sister, Gail.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
A special note to my loving husband, Jeff. You have left me for awhile here but I will still see you everywhere I go. In the beautiful lakes and streams, fishing, when I walk in the woods your there sitting in a tree stand looking over all the beauty God hs made, the deer and other animals that appear, sitting against a tree calling a Tom turkey in. The most enjoyed of all hunts. Yes, My dear one your life was enjoyed by family and friends but mostly God richly blessed you with his love to see and enjoy what he has given to all of us. You my LOVE !
