Kathy passed away on April 30, 2024. She was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on September 4, 1946, and raised in Ashland, Wisconsin by her parents, Raymond and Senia Foley. She is survived by her siblings: Karen Foley Dorin, Linda Kostka, and Tim Ledin. She was preceded in death by siblings: Betty Bullock, Cindy Ledin and Butch Ledin.
Kathy married John (Jack) Berweger on February 24, 1974; he survives. Surviving children are Candida Berweger, Shadric Berweger, and step- daughter Annette (Mark) Andersen. Grandchildren include Sebastian, Selina Brandon, Brittany Hutcherson, and Blake Andersen.
Jack, Kathy, and family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1984. Kathy worked at Dickenson's Wharf, The Green Shack Supperclub, and the Skyline Casino as a bartender her entire career, retiring 4 years ago.
Kathy cherished her family, dear friends and childhood classmates who impacted and enhanced her life with vibrant memories as she was always the life of the party. She reminisced and held dear these relationships and remembrances.
Think of Kathy when you are rooting for the Green Bay Packers. Come and join us to remember her love for all her friends and family, for a celebration of lifetime to be determined in Ashland, Wisconsin later this year. Kathy accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior near the last stages of her illness. While we grieve deeply for her passing, it gives us comfort knowing she is in the arms of Jesus, with no more pain and no more cancer.
