Kenneth D. Temby "Tin Can Kenny", age 69, of Ashland, passed away, with loving family by his side, Monday, November 17, 2025 at the REM Wisconsin Adult Family Home in Ashland. He was born October 16, 1956 in Milwaukee, the son of Sam and Marjorie (Hall) Temby.

Ken graduated from Ashland High School in 1974. He worked as a custodian at the Mellen Saw Mill for several years. He also worked at Burger King and the Black Cat, amongst other various jobs.

Ken loved being outdoors and you could often find him picking up aluminum cans as he walked around Ashland. He also enjoyed fishing, playing cards and cribbage, working on word books and watching tv and movies.

Ken was a car enthusiast who loved going to classic car shows. He also looked forward to holidays with his family and celebrating his birthday with a Frankie's pizza or a bacon cheese burger. Ken also enjoyed watching the Packers, following soccer and going to the Black Cat for coffee with his friends.

Ken was very active in the Wisconsin Special Olympics. For many years he competed in bowling, basketball, javelin and track and field. He made many friends during this time and always looked forward to seeing them throughout his life.

Ken is survived by his siblings, Betty, Sam, Nancy, Beverly (Tony), Steve, Dawn and Beth; special cousins, Rhonda Smith, Robin Belsky, Rolene Van Vlack and Cheryl Provost; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Temby and mother, Marjorie McCutcheon.

A memorial service will be held 11: 00 am, Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at the Roberts Funeral Home with hospice Chaplain, Matt Agee officiating Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service and a reception will follow. Inurnment will be held in the St. Agnes Cemetery in Ashland.
