JAMES CHRISTOPHER ZACHARIAS James Christopher "Jim" Zacharias, 44, of Wichita, KS, formerly of Atchison, KS, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 2, 2024, at his home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Russ Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at the Round Prairie Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to help defray funeral costs and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Words of comfort for the family may be left at www.beckerdyer.com. Jim was born September 2, 1980, in Atchison, KS, the son of Paul Christopher "Bud" and Jeannette (Lewis) Zacharias. He graduated from Atchison High School. Jim worked for All Parts Auto Salvage, Wichita, KS. He enjoyed working on cars, playing pool, four-wheeling, fishing, watching MacGyver, and spending time with family friends, and pets. Jim was always smiling and having fun. Survivors include his mother, Jeannette Zacharias, Atchison, KS, a brother Michael Zacharias, Atchison, KS, a niece, Kassidee Pennington, a nephew, Karson Zacharias, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded by his father.
