SHERRI L. COULTER Sherri L. Coulter, 67, Atchison, Kansas, died Sunday, April 28, 2024, at her residence. Memorial Services will be Friday, May 10, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home, with Fr. Jeremy Heppler, OSB, officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family to benefit the care of her son Kevin and may be left in care of the funeral home. Sherri was born August 13, 1956, in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Don and Rosie Turpin. She graduated from Mount St. Scholastica Academy in 1974. She was employed with the Headstart program in Atchison for a period before becoming a caregiver for her son Kevin for the last 44 years. She was married to Michael Coulter. Mr. Coulter preceded her in death on February 16, 2009. Sherri enjoyed working on her home and restoring it to historic accuracy. She loved spending time with her siblings and family. Sherri was an advocate for those with special needs. Survivors include her two sons, Steve (Dana) Coulter, Omaha, NE, Kevin Coulter, Atchison, KS, her father, Don Turpin, six siblings, Mike (Tracey) Turpin, Chris (Melissa) Turpin, Kathy Phillips, Vicki Bennett, Pam (Mike) Andre, Tracie Turpin, two grandchildren, Jordan (Riley) Rischling, Taylor Coulter, and a great granddaughter, Emersyn Rischling. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosie Turpin.
