Trimble Donald "Don" Lee Mulpas Sr., 90, passed away peacefully at his home in Trimble, Ohio, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 18, 1935, in Redtown, Ohio, to Clarence and Verna Darnell Mulpas.
Don was a 1953 graduate of Jacksonville-Trimble High School. He married the love of his life, Deloris, on January 29, 1955, in Jacksonville, Ohio. Together they shared 70 years of marriage filled with dedication, partnership, and love. Just before his passing, he told his wife "I will love you forever". The love they shared was like a fairytale that everyone strived for. They were the kind of couple that still held hands, even til the very end.
A proud and devoted union member of Sheet Metal Workers Locals 98 and 24 out of Columbus and Dayton, Don worked in the trade for an extraordinary 43 years. He retired in 1996, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship, work ethic, and respect among his peers. He enjoyed going to the monthly retirees breakfast in years past, in Columbus.
Don treasured spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping. These moments-often shared with family and friends-were among his happiest, reflecting his deep appreciation for nature and simple joys.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Verna Mulpas; his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Warren Jeffers; his sister-in-law, Maryann Mulpas; his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Sr and Darlene Mulpas.; his son Douglas Mulpas; and his grandson, Daniel Mulpas Jr.
