Ms. Crow was my band teacher during my years at Miller High School. We were kind of a ragtag group of students, but she worked hard to bring us together as a band. She was always encouraging to everyone in our group. So thankful to have been a friend of hers in later years and have some contact with her via Facebook. She will be missed.

We so enjoyed stopping at the store in Carbondale. It was the perfect place for kids like us to buy candy and pop. We have fond
memories of Jackie and her parents. God bless.

I'd like to give my condolences to the family as they go through this difficult time. I was a library aide for Jackie back in the early 2000's for a couple years. Normally an aide is for a period of a few months but somehow I managed to make it on her list again and again. To make a long story short she and I got along great, lots of great conversations and laughs. She'd even let me get away with a thing or two like skipping to get lunch and come back, (shhh don't tell)
I'd also like to mention that for years after I had graduated and obtained my commercial license I delivered her home heating oil. This was after a few years of not seeing her so it was special to see her again and to know that I could be the person to call when she needed to stay warm. We never chatted long but she's definitely one person that made a big impact as I navigated my way through high school!
