The best professor ever at Ohio University (and I have known a lot of them!) I needed only one math class, but after the first one, took two more classes with him because of his style of teaching. He was gentle, most knowledgeable, and cared about his students' learning. He was always available to answer questions. Later when I started teaching, I followed his style. I ran into him every once in a while after he retired. His everlasting smile on his face distinguished him from all other professors. I am thankful that I had him as a professor and mentor. On behalf of all his students I want to thank his family for sharing him with us and allowing him to spend extra time with his students. God bless Dr. Snyder.
