Richard Newbrough Obituary

Albany Richard "Skip" Newbrough, 75, Albany, On Tuesday June 4, 2024, left this life to continue his journey.

He was born in Charleston, WV. to the late Charles "Chuck" and Vivian Carter Newbrough.

He attended WV Wesleyan College, was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and a coal miner, roofer and most of all he enjoyed his time at FPR as a Jack-of-all trades and bouncer, this fit right in with his love of music. He loved the outdoors and nature as well. His favorite things include family, gardening, watching sports and music.

Richard is survived by his wife Regina and Fur Babies, his sister Michelle (Tom) John of Wheeling, WV., sisters-in-law Beverly (Butch) Price of Wharton, WV., Brenda (Joel) Freier of Layman, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews and many special friends.

In addition to his parents, Charles "Chuck" and Vivian Newbrough, he was also preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

As per his request he was cremated, and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
