Thelma Hillyer Obituary
A graduate of New Straitsville High School, she was employed for over 40 years at the Timken Roller Bearing Company in Columbus as an executive secretary. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of The Plains.
Thelma is survived by a sister, Ruth Wilson of The Plains; several nieces and a nephew, Renee Shimwell , Lee Hillyer, Carla Smeyers, and Samatha Trost; great nieces and great nephews, Benjamin and McCullin Shimwell, Brook Holcomb, and Lisa Schein.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a 1/2 sister, Dorothy Morgan; and a brother, Gene Hillyer.
A graveside service will be conducted Monday, November 10th at the Union Cemetery in New Straitsville at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Donald Dunn officiating.
