Bernice Gaiser Obituary
Bernice graduated from Maumee High School, and earned a Bachelors Degree from Bowling Green State University and a Masters of Education from the University of Toledo. She taught at the Anthony Wayne School and later taught at Devilbiss and E.L. Bowsher High Schools. She taught Business Courses in the high schools for over 30 years. She was a founding member of the Community of Christ Lutheran Church in Whitehouse, and also attended Christ Lutheran Church in Athens, Ohio.
She is survived by her husband Charles, her daughters Karen (Denton) Bucher of Johnstown, Ohio, Constance (Ron) Phillips of New Bern, North Carolina, her son Mark (Darla) Gaiser of Wilkesville, Ohio, her grandchildren Shad (Carol) Bucher, Melissa Dinsmore, Amy (Ken) Fisher, Sarah Beth (John) Kreitzer, Troy (Becky) Bucher, Daniel Drummond, Matthew (Hillery) Gaiser, David (Suzanne) Gaiser, and Clarissa (Steve) Stallings, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and her sisters Ethel (James) Ludwick, Frances Warnock, and Rosa Lee (Glenn) Johnson, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Fred Brauneck.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Saturday July 22, 2017 from 10 am until the time of service at 12 noon at the Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 7220 Dutch Rd. Waterville, Ohio. Entombment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens in Waterville. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Bernice's memory to the Cherry Street Mission, 105 17th St. Toledo, Ohio 43604.
