Daniel Bacon Obituary
Daniel was born in Athol on April 1, 1962, a son of the late Leon and Charlene (Cadoret) Bacon. After graduating from Athol High School, he enlisted in the US Army, where he proudly served his country in the 10th Special Forces as a Green Beret. He spent his career working as a Research and Development Engineering Technician for Boston Scientific.
Daniel loved to cook for friends and family and always enjoyed being outside, especially camping and hiking. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Sally (Fontaine) Bacon; siblings, Harold Bacon, Mary Adams and husband Scott, Martha Boudreau and partner Drew Conroy; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He also leaves his beloved dog and cat, Molly and LuLu.
Daniel was predeceased by his sister-in-law Doreen Bacon.
There are no funeral services and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial contribution to the ASPCA, PO Box 96929 Washington, DC 20090-6929.
