Family-Placed Death Notice

ANDERSON, Alfred Alfred Anderson, 62, of Marietta died Sunday, November 23, 2008. Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Marietta with Rev. Mack Riley officiating. Mr. Anderson was employed over 25 years with American Re-Insurance Company. He was a member of St. Andrew UMC in Marietta for 27 years. Mr. Anderson had a crazy sense of humor and always a positive attitude. His two favorite pastimes were spending time with his family and playing as much tennis as possible. Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Pam Anderson of Marietta; two daughters, Laura Anderson of Marietta, Lizzy Anderson of Marietta; one son, Tyler Anderson of Marietta; sister, Barbara Myers (Walt) of Atlanta; brother, Woody Anderson of Woodbridge, VA; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Andrew UMC Good Samaritan Fund, 3455 Canton Road NE Marietta, GA 30066; or MUST Ministries, 55 Elizabeth Church Rd. NE, Marietta, GA 30060. Family will receive friends directly after the service. Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory will be handling the arrangements. www.mayeswarddobbins.com
