JONES, Alma Alma Pitchford Jones was born on March 8, 1922 and passed away August 8, 2015. She was born in Funston, GA. and is 1 of 11 children from Henry F. and Mary E. Pitchford. Alma was the wife of Nathan B. Jones and the mother of Robert, Linda, and Barry. In addition to being a loving wife and mother, she was a woman devoted to her faith. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on September 23, 1954 and remained a faithful and active member of numerous Georgia congregations (College Park, Lakewood, Peachtree, Buckhead, Chastain Park) and the congregation in Morrisville, VT. Alma is survived by her 2 remaining sisters, Mary F. Pullium of Atlanta, GA. and Zoldean P. Roy of New Orleans LA, her children, Robert F. Jones of Dahlonega, GA. and Barry N. Jones of Atlanta, GA, her 5 grandchildren, Robert C. Jones, Brigitte J. Dunevent, Nicholas A. Jones, Trey N. Jones, and Elizabeth B. Jones, and her 4 great grandchildren, Danny, Darby, Dillion, and Colton. Memorial Services will be held at the Chastain Park Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Saturday August 22, 2015 at 5:30 pm.
