Beth was a light and inspiration to the younger women who are following in her political footsteps. The Cobb County Democratic Party owes so much to Beth and her tireless support. Blessings to her family.

Beth served as a Trustee for Georgia Women of Achievement during a time that I served as Executive Director. Although new to the Board, she jumped at the chance to serve as Education Chair and tackled the assignment in a way that only Beth could - full force and with great enthusiasm! Beth was diagnosed during the time I was departing from GWA but I know that all those who served alongside Beth must feel a great void. She will be missed.

Beth was a loving, caring person who worked tirelessly for a better world. She embraced and lived her values and brightened every room she entered with her calm, gracious presence and her keen intelligence. She served in the trenches as a State Committee member of our state Democratic party. She fought for public education, for a bright future for our children, and for opening the doors for women and people of color to achieve full equality. She will be greatly missed, gone too soon, and i hope her family takes comfort in condolences from near and far, as she touched so many lives in her time here on earth. Rest in peace, dear Beth.

Nasrolah and family: The news of Beth's death has hit me hard. I had no idea she was ill. I can not even imagine her ill, because she was such a force of nature. She had immense power and could do anything she set her mind to do. She always had a project she was working on and her projects were always intended to make this a better world. She was 100% interested in a more peaceful, green, and just world. I worked with Beth on her film project about Georgia women and also on a number of other projects she dreamed up out of her brilliant mind. I am very sorry to hear this news. Her loss is huge for our state and country. Peace and condolences go out to you all.

To the Family of Dr. Beth Farokhi,
My heart was heavy when I found out the news. I have always admired her and I was a member of the Leadership Academy, Class of 2006. I was a student worker at College of Education back in the late 80's when I first met her. She was outstanding in character and so gifted. She was beautiful inside and out. She was active in her community and encouraged so many people to vote. Her legacy will last a lifetime. Rest in peace, Dr. Beth Farokhi.

You will be missed. As most people have commented, you were always kind, smiling and didn't discriminate based on gender, political affiliation or color. I appreciate all you have given to this world and better times are ahead in the next. God Bless you and may your family find comfort knowing how much you were loved.

I only had the privilege of meeting Beth once in person. In 2017, I attended the Federation of Democratic Women's National summit. I was twenty-eight at the time and intimidated to be there. There was an empty seat next to Beth and I asked if anyone was sitting there. She kindly said, "Why, you are". We were both a little early and talked for about twenty or so minutes about our lives and Georgia. She could tell I didn't know anyone and continually introduced me to speakers and others sitting near us. She went out of her way after the conference to befriend me on Facebook and would occasionally encourage me with her comments there. She impacted my life after such a small interaction. I can only imagine your loss and wish your family well.

I'm so very sorry to hear of her passing. I knew Beth and worked with her in her run for the School Board. She was kind, had a fine mind, fun, and always looked to make the world better. Simply a wonderful person. I had been thinking in the last couple of months that I would call her and catch up. This world is less without her in it. My deep condolences to Nasrolah and the family.
