Family-Placed Death Notice
BRILEY, Bruce, Sr. Bruce Briley, Sr., age 48 of Atlanta died Friday May 15, 2009. Funeral services will be held at Hunter Hill First Baptist Church on Saturday May 23 at 11:00 am Rev. Wilford Stocker officiating follow by interment at Greenwood Cemetery. The church is located at 166 Edwards Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30314. Please assemble at the church. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Maryann Shipp Briley; one son, Bruce Briley Jr.; mother, Annie S. Briley; two sisters, Amanda G. Briley and Sandra Briley Kennebrew(Warren). The fam- ily will receive friends at Suburban Lanes, 2619 North Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA Friday May 22, 6:30-8:30pm.

Dear Maryann,
Even though we have not kept in touch, I remember WELL the day you and Bruce married. I had never seen a man show such emotion as he did when you came up the aisle. Beautiful. I don't even remember exactly how many years it has been. A few, for sure, but not enough for anything like this. My heart goes out to you. I was widowed young also, and understand the pain. God bless you Maryann. Hang in there. If there is anything I can do, please feel free to contact me.
