Family-Placed Death Notice

RICH, Casper Casper Rich, Jr., died April 01, 2008 after an extended illness. Casper Rich, Jr. was born in Bainbridge, Georgia June 24, 1924. His mother died when he was 3 years old and Casper was raised by his father, Casper Rich, Sr. and his two older sisters. At age 18, Casper joined the United States Marine Corps and served in World War II in the Mariana Islands, South Pacific. After his service in the United States Marine Corps, he entered Emory University as a pre-law student and obtained his Juris Doctorate in Law in 1952. Casper Rich began law practice in the Atlanta Metropolitan area and established the law firm of Rich, Bass, Kidd & Witcher in 1953, where he remained a partner until 2003. He was a well-respected and knowledgeable attorney, who always had time to give to his fellow lawyers and all those who needed his advice and consolation. Casper Rich left no survivors, but many friends. Those who befriended him will remember him as someone who as trusted, loyal, honest, and committed to his beliefs and values. Donations may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, New York, New York 10001, or at www.alzfdn.org.
