Family-Placed Death Notice
Mrs. Cecile B. Reed, age 95, died on Friday, May 14, 2004. She was born, married, and became the mother of her own family in the city of Atlanta. She is predeceased by a daughter, Alice Jacquelyn Reed, and her husband, James Reno Reed. She is survived by a son, James Daniel Reed and wife, Sheila, of Austin, TX; a daughter, Carol Jean Reed, of Atlanta; two grandsons, Keith Reed and Chris Reed and their mother, Carol Campbell Reed. The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday morning, May 22nd from ten until eleven o'clock at Patterson's Oglethorpe Hill followed by graveside services at eleven-thirty at Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Atlanta Humane Society, 981 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta, GA 30318 in memory of Cecile B. Reed. H. M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30319, (404) 261-3510.
