CEDRIC DAVENPORT WESLEY Cedric (Lil Ced) Wesley will be funeralized Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at 11 a.m. from Mt. Patmos Baptist Church. Rev. Raleigh Rucker, pastor, officiating. Interment, Dawn Memorial Park. Survivors are father, two sisters, two brothers, grandparents, and a host of other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held TONIGHT at the church from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Please assemble at 2643 Tolliver Dr. at 10 a.m. Raleigh Rucker Funeral Home, 404-288-7015.

I didn't know (Ced) but many say that I do. I know a few people at Therrell High who were deeply sadden by this tragic lost. It is so sad to lose a friend/family memeber who is so young. May GOD be with you all who and who didn't know him. My prayers are reaching out to the family and many friends of this young individual. I to also lost a friend who was young about two months ago. God has them closer to him and out of harms way so dont be sadden because they are not gone, nor lost, just resting from hardache and pain. May God be with you and hopefully we will all see him soon one day.

I did not know you well, yet still you passing has definately had an impact on my life. My little sister,Taneisha, was close to you, you talked to my baby, Trazure, on the phone almost everyday. Just a few months ago we were bringing you a card and a plant for the passing of your mother, I felt your pain then, and to hear this just devistated me. I just want to say to you and your family I am so sorry to hear the news and it is hurtful that you were taken so young. God only takes the ones that he wants so, we need to look at this as a blessing that God is calling you for a much better purpose that no man can change. You are truly going to be missed by my friends and me.It seems like only yesterday you were walking down the hallway with one hand holding your pants up(because you never wore a belt)and the other hand in your hair twisting your dreds.You were one of the finest black boys that I had ever seen and your skin was like black silk.

You will never be forgotten and you will always live in my heart forever.
