Mr and Mrs White

Cody was and still is a very good friend to me. I remember the last time that we had talked, it was about a month before he had passed away. Cody told me that I needed to come check him out at the shop. I had explained some of the things that I had just experienced this whole year and we had just talked for about an hour. The last thing that he (Cody) had told me was that we go way back. " I had said you are right" We not only played baseball and would play at Welcome All Park together but we were also classmates and I am going to miss him so much. One thing that I do know is to be out of the body is to be in the presence of the lord and I know that he is sitting right next to our heavenly farther. May GOD continue to bless you, your wife, and Coley. He will be truly missed.

I just learned today that Cody had passed away. He was my son's barber for 8 years. Jabari and Cody formed a special bond from their first meeting(my son was 3). Cody was like an older brother to my son. My son would not let anyone but Cody cut his hair. In 8 years only 2 other people have cut my son's hair besides Cody(I had to force him to do it). Over the years we would lose touch with Cody, when he moved locations, but we would always find him or run back into him. I am very saddened to hear about his untimely death.

Cody is gone but he will never be forgotten. He will live on in my memory as well as my son's.

I will continue to keep the family in my prayers.

God bless you.

Barbara & Larry,
Our hearts were sadden to hear of the passing of Cody. It almost seems like yesterday that he and Jermaine were little boys. Although he is gone in the physical, we know that he will forever be with you. You are great parents, and brought him up in the way he should go, we know that he loved you, respected you and loved God. We pray that the peace of God that passes all understanding will be with you, and your family as you travel this journey. Ralph and I will continue to pray for your and your family and keep you close to our hearts. We love you in Jesus' Name.
Love you,
Ralph & Cynthia Jones & Family

Mr.& Mrs. White and Coley,
Cody was our son's barber since our son was in the 4th grade. He is now in the 11th. We were so heartbroken to hear about Cody. He was like a son to me.Our son went by the shop to get his haircut on Saturday, and saw the sign on the door. It was a shock. I always told Cody that he was like a son to me, with Wisdom beyond his years. We would laugh & talk about many things, and he was so mature. It was such a joy to be in his presence. He always talked about mom and dad and his little sister, and how proud he was of her. He will certainly be missed. We're praying for God's comfort and peace in your lives. Cherish the loving memories. May this scripture comfort you, Isaiah 61:3

May I offer my sincere and heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your son and my cousin. Death is something none of us can get accumstomed to. It was never a part of God's original purpose for mankind and will one day be a thing of the past. In the Bible book of Revelation Chapter 21 and verse 4: it says: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".

Until this promise from our loving and Merciful God is fulfilled we need the comfort he gives us in his word the Bible. I hope this gives the family a measure of comfort unit 1 Corinthians 15:55 is fulfilled, which says in part " That death is swallowed up forever. Also, precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints Psalm 118:15

Sincerly,

Ray Polk
