To dear Ginny, and the Moise/Collins family whom we know and love, my deepest condolences. Just seeing David walk to the Chapel was uplifting and spiritual, full of God's Grace. How many wonderful sermons he gave, how many songs we all sang and how many wonderful memories we all have of David and Ginny giving their all to our community. Truly a servant of the Lord.

David was an amazing man of God! He inspired and directed so many in so many ways.... he did so much to grow the Kingdom of God here on Earth.

We never met David but had talked and written several times because his wife "Ginny" Moise was a cousin whom we both "grew up" with in Carlinville, IL . Our sympathy card was returned for wrong address. Further, our Rector at St Francis Willow Glen in San Jose, CA , Maly ( C arswell) Hughes knew him - went to school with one of your sons. Our deepest sympathies go to you and your family. Bettie and Robert M. Homer, San Jose, CA
David is worshipping God in person now!

What a giant of a man, what a powerful Christian he was and how many lives he touched - including mine. In 1978,he introduced me to our Lord Jesus, setting me on a beautiful journey of faith and joy in the Lord.
To quote David in his book, "There is A Lad Here": "My desire is to trust, to have faith, and to live in the joy that God gives. And to share that wonderful Jesus, with His Father and the Holy Spirit, with others - in hope, Above all, I hope to be faithful."
David did just that - with grace and love. He was one of God's great witnesses and I will always hold him in my heart with respect, gratitude and love!
My love and prayers to all of his family. May our Lord, the God of all comfort, give you His peace.

My life at once was changed by a sermon at The University of the South. What the World Needs Now is Love. It was six year later the fruit began to grow. I am eternally grateful, and am thankful Melissa invited me to her home to listen to music. God bless you all.
