To the Family of David DeCuir, my husband & I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences. I just learned of David's transitioning today. Needless to say, I am heartbroken & numb! I was singing his praises all afternoon to my sister & niece. We are in the process of planning my niece's engagement party & wedding reception. I couldn't reach David at the number I have, so I went online to get his number to call him and set up a meeting to hire him for these events as well as a Christmas party for us this year. When I saw Chef DeCuir's obituary - I couldn't believe my eyes. David was one of the best chef's ever and very professional. He catered numerous events for us. One of them was featured on his website several years ago. As an interior designer, I am honored to have met and worked with someone of his caliber. We had very similar taste in decor. David, I will miss your beautiful spirit and seeing your handsome face. Rest in Peace, David. We will meet again.

To the family of Dave Decuir. I just heard this and I will definitely keep all of you uplifted in prayer. Mr. Decuir provided service to DeKalb County and I handle the invoices for him. On several ocassions Mr. Decuir would call me and have me come by to get a plate. His food was always delicious!!!!! He prepared it with so much love and it was apparent in every bite. God blessed Dave with a gift and he mastered it! All of us didn't just lose a chef we lost a dear friend. I'm very sorry that I didn't know in time because I would have try to attend the services for my friend. Sleep on David get your rest, we all loved you but God loved you best!
