To my family: God has been good to us even when our loved ones leave this earth. It really hurt us in the flesh but in the Holy Spirit we should rejoice that all troubles of this world is over. I love my cousin Mete and I will truly miss her. We have been through a lot of family deaths but we who are still here, should get closer to each other like never before. I pray that God give all of us strength to go through the rough times of life. God said he will be what ever we need him to be, whether it is a wife, mother, daughter, sister or aunt. We just have to believe and keep trusting in him.

Not knowing Mrs. Gibbs but I currently go to the school that her son Miles attends. I just wanted to give my condolences to her family. You all are in my prayers. But just know she wants you all to stay strong that's the only thing that will make her happy. She is in a better place. God just needed another angel like Mrs. Gibbs to enter his kingdom.

Although I did not know Demetria as well as others, she was always friendly, cordial and helpful when we would pass each other in the hallway at work. Once, she assisted me with math materials for my middle school aged son. She will be missed! I pray that God provides his peace to Terrell, Miles and the rest of her family!

I am truly missing Demetria. She was a strong woman. She carried herself with dignity and grace to the end. I will miss seeing the shoes she wore from her vast shoe collection. Demetria gave everyone in the office homemade hot chocolate as a X-Mas gift. I never drank mine and I still have the gift just as it was the day she gave it to me, candy cane and all. My special memorabilia. She was a brilliant woman. I was admiring her degrees just the other day. May God continue to bless the family and cause His face to shine upon them.

I had the pleasure of working with Demetria for a short time at GTC several years ago. She was an exceptional mathematics instructor that was loved and respected by both students and faculty. I am truly devastated over her passing. She was one in a million and her memory will remain with me forever.
