Derrick Foster Obituary
Celebration of Life Service for Derrick Lamar Foster will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM, at Poplar Spring United Methodist Church, 5555 Old Cascade Road SW, Atlanta, GA 30331. Rev. Steven Rhodes, pastor. His body will lie instate at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 AM. Interment Lincoln Cemetery.
Derrick leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Dovie M. Foster; sister, Carla Foster; godsister, Nicole French; uncles, Otha (Julia) Mathis, Tim Hayes, Charles L. Foster, Cederic (Stephanie) Foster; and aunts, Lucille (Rayfield) Hayes, Doris Gray, Vanessa (Michael) Underwood, and Regina Newsome; special friends, Zandra Kirkland, Johnny Mapson, and Neil Anderson; and a host of cousins and friends.
On Friday, public viewing will be held from 1 - 6 PM at Murray Brothers Cascade Chapel, 1199 Utoy Springs Rd., SW (corner of Cascade Rd., near I-285), 404-349-3000, mbfh.com. Service can be LIVE Streamed by viewing www.vimeo.com/murraybrothers
