WHITE, DeVaughn Home going services for Mr. DeVaughn White will be held Friday, July 26, 2013 at 11:00AM at St. Paul AME Church 1704 South Stone Mountain-Lithonia Road, Lithonia, Georgia 30058. Rev. Dr. T. Nathaniel Hercules, Senior Pastor. Interment will be held at Hillandale Memorial Gardens 6201 Hillandale Dr, Lithonia, GA 30058. Visitation will be TODAY from 10AM-7PM with a family hour from 6-7PM at the Scottdale Chapel 351 N. Clarendon Ave., Scottdale, GA 30079. DeVaughn is survived by Sandra (spouse); Shalisa and Shania (daughters) and many relatives and friends. Services entrusted to Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Home, Inc.-South DeKalb Chapel (404) 241-5656.

Today (Aug 8), I heard the news of the passing of my brother in Christ. My heart was so heavy, and I felt like crying. Brother White was a kind and loving man with such a gentle spirit. Whenever I visit Atlanta and stop by St. Paul again, I will look back on the back row or the choir stand and think of him. Sandra, stay strong and stand in God's word for peace and comfort. Just to offer a word of sympathy, I didn't know our husband, but I heard from Tony Williams that he was a find man. I know you & the girls will miss him, but the memories will always be with you always. May God keep and strengthen you each day.
