Charles and Jill:
We, the Scarletts, want you to know that we are so aware of the heavy sorrow that the loss of your mother brings to you and your family. Time lifts the weight of that sorrow to a bearable pang of loss. We feel that your good works and professional successes gave your mother such joy and pride. We all love the quiet praise that comes from a mother's beautiful acceptance of her good work in raising you.
Our very best to you and your family at this difficult time.
