I just learned of and am terribly saddened by the news of Don's passing. He was not only a friend, but also a mentor to me in many ways during the years I worked with him. He was a fine man who left a lasting impression on those who knew him. i will always remember and miss him.

We were saddened to read about the passing of our neighbor Don. His home is on top of a beautiful mountain we shared. Although we did not see each other nearly often enough we have nice memories of him as well as visiting family members. As all good neighbors do, we helped each other from road work to sharing forgotten condiments for hot dogs and hamburgers! He was always very gracious and we will always remember him as we pass his road on the way to ours. Please allow us the privilege of helping with anything we can do to help with the mountain home or road. We will always be his neighbor in spirit and may you feel peace knowing your loved one was respected and cared for by his mountain friends. Barbara and Ansell Maund III. Contact us at [email protected] and we will do whatever we can to help.

To Steve and Nancy - I wish to offer my deepest sympathy in the passing of your father. I have such fond memories of both of your parents, particularly how supportive they were when my mother passed away. In the likely event you do not recall me, I am the younger of the two Engel brothers that grew up across the street from you in Monona.
