Eddie Ellington Obituary
Eddie Norris Ellington, 89 of Decatur, GA, began his eternal journey on November 10, 2025.
He was predeceased by his sons, Bryant Ellington and Bobby L. Jones.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Hattie M. Ellington; daughter, Calandra Akinkoye; brother, Milton Peek; aunt, Arsie Stewart; uncle, Maceo Stewart; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; niece and a host of cousins.
Funeral services will be held on November 22, 2025, 3 PM, at the Chapel of Donald Trimble Mortuary, Decatur. Interment will be held on November 24, 12 Noon, at Friendship Baptist Church, Crawfordville.
The visitation will be held from 1 PM to 7:30 PM, November 21, at Donald Trimble Mortuary.
Winfrey Mutual Funeral Home, Athens, has charge of final arrangements.
