Edna LITES Obituary

LITES, Edna Edna Humphries Lites, age 87, of Newnan, GA died Sunday, July 6, 2014. She was born in Fairburn, GA to the late Starling Frank and Allie Mae Cochran Humphries. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Joseph Lites. Edna was a member of First Baptist Church, Jonesboro. She enjoyed flowers and vegetable gardening. Edna is survived by her daughter: Gail Wilkinson of Newnan, GA; son, Dan (Teresa) Lites of Tucson AZ; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Dr. Lanny Loe officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Inc. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 5-7 pm at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. Those who wish may sign the on-line guest registry at www.cannonclevelandfunerals.com. How saddened we were to learn of Edna's passing. What great memories of growing up next door on Macon Drive. Many of those memories bring your Mom and Dad to mind. So thankful we had the privilege of knowing them both.
