SALMON, Edward T. EDWARD T. SALMON Edward T. Salmon, age 85, of Atlanta passed away December 17, 2012. Mr. Salmon served his country in the US Navy (WWII) and the US Army (Korean War MASH unit) and was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Elizabeth Salmon. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, raised in Oak Park, IL, and raised his family in Glen Ellyn, IL before retiring to Branson, MO. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carolyn Staehle Salmon; daughters and their husbands, Susan and Murray Frick (Brussels, Belgium), Janet and Patrick Miles (Marietta, Georgia), and Patricia and Monte Casner (Cheyenne, Wyoming); grandchildren Erin, Alana and Katherine Frick, Kristin Harding, Marine Corporal Scott Lambert, and Courtney Casner; great grandson Bentley Harding; and siblings, Suzanne Salmon Raysa and Lorraine Salmon West. Ed will be remembered fondly by family and friends for his joy of life, zest for fun, love of boating, humor and gentle strength. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am EST on Wednesday December 19, 2012 in the Chapel at Hospice Atlanta, 1244 Park Vista Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30319.
