Family-Placed Death Notice
ELEANOR DURHAM Eleanor Durham of Atlanta passed away from this life on November 30, 2007 after a brief illness. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Theresa Lattimore (William), Vickie Durham, son Lisco Leon Durham (Shuana), 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. Homegoing services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion Second Baptist Church, 137 Boulevard N.E., Atlanta, Ga., with remains placed in state at 9:30 AM., Rev. Henry Jones, Pastor officiating. Interment Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 7, 2007 from 7 pm till 8 pm at the mortuary. Please send floral tributes to the church. The cortege will assemble at 10:00 AM on the day of service at Goolsby Mortuary 1375 Jonesboro Rd SE (404) 588-0128. www.goolsbymortuary.com

If the day seems a little dimmer today, it is because Eleanor Durham, has left us to be with her Heavenly Father. The battle of her life ended, not because she did not fight with all she had, mind body and spirit to the very end, not because of lack of support or prayers or expressions of love from her family and her many church friends and others throughout Georgia and further.
