He is survived by his three children, Joseph Bradley Jackson, Joy Kelly Jackson and Zachary Pierce Jackson; mother, Mae Thomlinson; three siblings, Andrea Anderson (Gary), Karoll Waddy (Chris), and Christopher Jackson (Nina), and many other beloved family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America. I am profoundly saddened at Eric´s passing and I extend my condolences to the Jackson family in their loss. I encourage you to take comfort in the assurance that Heaven has welcomed a soldier who I always admired for his courage to take on life´s challenges undaunted, his resolve to demand the highest standards, and his resilience to rebound from a setback to repeatedly land on his feet. I will always be grateful for the significant help he extended to me to settle in when I moved to make Atlanta my home. Farewell, Eric - may you rest in peace.
