Estelle Gartner Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
GARTNER, Estelle Estelle Gartner, 85, of Ellenville, NY, passed away early Monday morning. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Ellenville for most of her life until moving to Atlanta 4 1/2 years ago. She graduated with her Masters in Education from New Paltz University and taught 2nd grade for 8 years at Ellenville Elementary School. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Benjamin Gartner, of 53 years. Survivors include her children, Jay and Mary Jo Gartner of Dallas, TX; Barbara Gartner of Dallas, TX; and Larry and Caryn Gartner of Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Steven Gartner, Julie Gartner, Michaiah Gartner, and Hannah Gartner. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6520 North Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. A graveside service will be held today, Tuesday, Feb. 22nd at 2:00 pm at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Dressler's Jewish Funeral Care, Atlanta (770) 451-4999.

Just thinking of you like always and came across this. Found your New York house on Google just now. It's still so weird without you and I miss you everyday. You were the best and always knew how to make people laugh and smile..especially when they were down. I wish you were here with me right now. I need you and your advice. I know you're in a better place and glad you aren't suffering anymore. Miss and love you so so much. I will always be "Your Girl!"
