Eugene Silvers, 68, of Buford died Sunday.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cross Roads Baptist Church, Lawrenceville. Burial will be in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford.
Mr. Silvers was born in Gilmer County. He graduated in 1953 from Ellijay High School. He was the retired owner of Silvers One-Hour Cleaners in Buford.
He was a member of the Kiwanis Club of North Gwinnett. He was a charter member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, where he was treasurer for many years and sang in the choir.
Survivors include his wife, Lessie Silvers; stepdaughter, Barbara Dooly of Buford; sister, Eulene Sanford of Ellijay; five stepgrandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
Memorial gifts may be sent to Cross Roads Baptist Church, 1391 Braselton Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30043.
