Tom and Mary Grace:

I saw Frnank's picture in Saturday's obits and immediately recognized him. I'm so sad to hear about his passing. I hope you remember me from my brief stay at UGA with you two. I still think about you often and am thinking of you even more this week with your loss. I know your kids and his other grandkids will miss him greatly. I hope my thoughts and prayers will comfort you.

Tall, goodlooking, with a calm warmth. He always had a quiet smile for even this gawking young cousin. I'll forever remember the poise and graciousness of Frank Jr, Charles and Betty during the Zimmer Drive days. Much love, Bud.

When we Yankees think of the embodiment of a Southern Gentleman, it is Frank Bowen who immediately comes to mind. He was a remarkably fine individual. We know that he has left you, his cherished family, with many delightful memories that will, we pray, cushion the blow of your loss.
