George Fuller Obituary


Family-Placed Death Notice

GEORGE KELLER FULLER George Keller Fuller passed away on November 30, 2003 at Canterbury Court in Atlanta. The son of Dr. and Mrs. George Washington Fuller and the only sibling of Drew Robinson Fuller, he was born in Atlanta on July 23, 1919 and resided in Atlanta all of his life. He was a graduate of Boys High and the University of Georgia, where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He served our country as an infantryman during World War II and was a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge. After the war, he attended Babson Institute, graduating from its business program. His professional life was spent in the textile and retail industries. He was employed at Kendall Mills prior to working at Rich's in Atlanta for more than twenty years. He is survived by his sister in-law, Betty Sands Fuller; nieces and nephews, Elsie and Bill Barnhardt of Charlotte, NC; Betty and Ned Case of Atlanta, and Nancy and Drew Fuller of San Antonio, TX; grandnieces and grandnephews, Keller and William Barnhardt, George and Daniel Case, and Caroline, Elizabeth, and Craig Fuller. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at Brookhaven Christian Church, 4500 Peachtree Road, N.E., Atlanta, GA 30319, at 12:30 P.M. on Wednesday, December 3, 2003 with the Reverend Brad Miller officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Brookhaven Christian Church or the charity of your choice. Online memorials may be posted at www.Mem.com.
