Family-Placed Death Notice
GOLDBERG, George George Goldberg, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, died on Thursday, September 17th from complications of diabetes. He was 77 years old. He died peacefully surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, JoAnne, daughter, Lisa Mulherin (Joe), Savannah, GA, sons, Michael (Carla), Des Moines, IA, David (Betty) Gainesville, GA, Craig (Gail) Atlanta, GA, sisters, Luella Bender, Roswell, GA, Dorothy Adamik, Cambridge, OH, brothers, Harris (Nancy) Goldberg, Reynoldsburg, OH and a host of nieces and nephews. Grandchildren, Stephen and Elizabeth Mulherin, Ryan Goldberg, Caroline and Mariclaire Goldberg, and Will and Katie Goldberg. George was born in Portsmouth, OH and has been a resident of Dunwoody for the past 39 years. He was a founding member of All Saints Catholic Church, and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 21st at 3:00 p.m. at All Saints, 2443 Mt. Vernon Rd., Dunwoody, GA 30338 with a reception immediately following in the social hall. The body will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Diabetes or Heart Association. Online condolences may be expressed at www.crowellbrothers .com.
