Family-Placed Death Notice

Mrs. Grace Leach Daniel, age 83, of Atlanta, GA formerly of Hampton died March 11, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital. Mrs. Daniel was born June 10, 1922 in Fayette County the daughter of the late Arter Myrtle Mask and George Caleb Daniel. She was a member of Hampton First United Methodist Church and most recently attending Sandy Springs United Methodist Church. Mrs. Daniel was a resident of Mt. Vernon Towers where she was very active; she served on the decorating committee and other advisory committees. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, who enjoyed being with all of her family, she enjoyed traveling and shopping. Her husband, Robert Windsor Daniel, preceded Mrs. Daniel in death in December of 2000. Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, George and Alice Daniel of Atlanta; grandchildren, Laura Daniel of Tallahassee, Graham Daniel and Nathan Daniel of Atlanta; sisters, Lucile Brooks of Columbia, SC and Georgia Belle Peters of San Rafael, CA; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mrs. Daniel will be Tuesday, March 14, 2006, 1:30 PM at Berea Cemetery in Hampton, GA with Rev. Renfroe Watson officiating.
