DREXINGER, Grace L.

Grace L. Drexinger passed away on October 30, 2025 at the age of 95 at her home in Marietta, GA. Born in Pittston, PA, she was the second of four daughters of Gaetano Leonardi and Mary Ormando. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard ("Bernie") Drexinger; and sisters, Lucille Maziarz and Helen O'Connor.

In 1975, she and her family moved to Marietta. She immediately became a community leader in Cobb County, first as the President of the Marietta/East Cobb Newcomers Club (consisting of 400 members) and then holding various positions at Holy Family Catholic Church, where she was a member for 50 years. In 1992, she retired from IBM, continuing friendships with many of those she worked with until the time of her death. She also worked as a volunteer for a number of organizations, including the Cobb County Board of Elections.

She was the ultimate extravert who drew people to her with her smile, soft spoken way, unbelievable listening skills and a contagious laugh. She is survived by her sons, B.R. Drexinger, M.D. (Beth) and Gaeton ("Guy") Drexinger (Chris); grandchildren, Sarah Sills (Andrew), Lauren Beasley (Craig), Alex Drexinger (Leslie Ann) and Kristen Drexinger; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Virginia Novak; and seven nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3401 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30068 on Friday, November 14, beginning at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM in the parish hospitality room.
