Harry Mirsky Obituary

MIRSKY, Harry Harry Mirsky, 91, of Hartford, beloved husband of the late Agnes (Rakus) Mirsky, died Sunday (September 28, 2008). He was born in Seymour, the son of the late Peter and Ann (Palynak) Mirsky and resided in Hartford since 1929. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and retired in 1983 from the Fuller Brush Corp. after 27 years of service. Harry was a member of the Parkville Senior Center. He is survived by several nieces and nephews and a devoted care giver Chester Watters. He was predeceased by two brothers and a sister. Harry's funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Fisette-Batzner Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Hartford. Interment with full Military Honors will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Fisette-Batzner. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
