Benny and Renee, I was planning my wedding this time last year - making those final, and last minute preparations for the big day. At the same time, you were planning for a big day in a much different way. Your sweet Heather was going home to be with God. My heart was heavy as I knew that two wonderful parents would look around and see a very different world. In a time of tragedy and great grief, it is impossible to imagine how others seem to be going through the day as though nothing had happened. But, it is that part of life that allows us to move from desperate broken heartedness - to one that sees us smile again, laugh again, play again. Heather's short time here with you and all that loved her left footprints that will never be washed away by the tides of life, changing seasons or anything else. But, those same tiny footprints will show you how to replenish your saddened heart and awake in you a new spirit of hope and understanding. All God's children live with HIM always - we are merely preparing to visit them someday. As others remember your little girl - so do I, and a prayer is lifted to her today!!

I am so sorry for your loss. I work with Jan at Deloitte. I lost my precious daughter in May. You are in my thoughts and prayers now and will continue to be. You have a long journey ahead. God bless your sweet soul Heather. You are now with angels where you will grow without pain, sing and dance and play with a healthy, perfect body!
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of Heaven belongs."
To Heather's mom and dad - thank you for sharing your daughter with so many. We have all received incredible lessons through Heather's undying spirit. I pray your memories to be long as you heal and your heart to find peace. God bless you.
