Dear Daddy,
When I was a little girl you took care of me. You read to me if I was sleepy and rubbed my tummy if I was not feeling well and told me it would be okay. You were the wind beneath my wings. When you were an old man I was honored to take care of you...honored to read to you if you were sleepy; and rub your feet when they hurt. And, just as you told me it would be okay; I am telling you that it is okay to raise your wings and fly away home. I hope that I am the wind beneath your wings. You are still the wind beneath mine. Happy 67th Anniversary! Thank you for being my father! I thank GOD for you!!
