Family-Placed Death Notice
Homegoing services for Mrs. Ida Y. Elligan, of 400 Ralph McGill Blvd., will be held 1 PM Thursday, May 6, 2004 at Tabernacle Baptist Church 475 Blvd. NE, Rev. Dennis Meredith, pastor, officiating. Interment Monte Vista Biblical Gardens. The body will lie instate from 11 AM until the hour of service. She leaves to cherish her memory five grandchildren: Rev. Darrell D. Elligan (Tanya), Mr. Anthony Elligan (Regina Burns), Mrs. Phyllis Grantly, Ms. Felicia Welch, Mr. Stanley Elligan (Sylvia Norman); eleven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mary Gladys Elligan, two nieces, Ms. Willie Bell Mobley, Mrs. Martha Coppage; cousins, Rev. J. L. Henderson, Mrs. Pearl Child, Mrs. Barbara Stafford and Mrs. Annie Lyons; seven great nieces; four great nephews; several God Daughters, Virginia Jenning and a host of very dear dear friends. Everyone is asked to assemble at the residence at 12 Noon. Haugabrooks Funeral Home, Inc., 404-522-8217.

Miss Ida was such a big part of our family for many many years. She helped carry me home from the hospital in 1949 when I was born and she helped me with my first born in 1973. Ida was a wonderful lady and she will be missed by many people who loved her very much. I know you are with the angels now! Much love Marlene,John Johnny, Rebecca and William Cherry
