Isla Nash-Hendrix Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
NASH-HENDRIX, Isla Mrs. Isla Nash-Hendrix, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, age 80, formerly of Forest Park, died December 28, 2010. She is survived by her children, Richard Hendrix, Jacqueline (Dick) Brookfield, Kathryn (James) McDonald, Tony (Colleen) Hendrix; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 31, 2010 in the Jonesboro Chapel of Pope Dickson & Son with Pastor Michael Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service. Pope Dickson & Son-Jonesboro Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. 770-478-7211.

If this is the Isla Nash I think it is I remember her from our school days at Joe Brown Jr. High School in West End and maybe Girls High too. I remember her as a very sweet and friendly girl, and have thought about her over the years. As we get older we tend to reminess over our childhood years.. my sympathy to all of her family.
