Funeral services for Mrs. Jacqueline Spicer of 65 Mountain View Circle, Covigton, GA, will be held Saturday, November 15, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church, Hwy 162 S., Covington, GA. Rev. E.J. Tomlinson Pastor Eulogist. Interment, Flat Shoals Cemetery, Covington, GA. Survivors are husband, Mr. Henry Lee Spicer; children, Ms. Yashama Denise Rosa, Conyers, GA, Mr. Howard McDougal (Tricia), Forest Park, GA, Jason Watson (Tashia), Decatur, GA, Christina Spicer, Covington, GA, Henry Spicer Jr., Covington, GA, Cassandra Theophile (Aundre), Missy McDougal, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Elijah Williams, Texas; father, Mr. Aaron Aikens; 3 sisters, Diane Parks, Calif, Barbara Harris, Ohio, Teresa Harris, Hawkinsville, GA; 3 brothers, Ralph Harris, Gregory Harris, Ronnie Harris, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, 3 aunts, one uncle, mother-in-law, Mrs. Willie Mae Allen, Morven, GA; one sister-in-law, one son-in-law; a host of other relatives and friends. The remains will lie in state at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. A wake will be held tonight at the chapel from 7 to 8 p.m. Family and friends will assemble at the above address at 10:00 a.m. Lester Lackey & Sons. 770-786-6177.

I was deeply saddened by the loss of Jackie. She and I spent many hours in the ATL gates together.Even when she didn't feel her best her constant smile...her infectious laugh and as always her motherly advice were always appreciated. May God be with the family at this time of tremendous loss.
